They just though that she was strange like that.
She would stand there, in the middle of the courtyard in the cold, pouring rain, with her face upturned towards the dark, cloudy sky. They would tell her to come back inside, beckoning from the doorway. In her mind, he would step out from the small crowd and slowly walk over to her, through the rain. He would wrap his jacket around her and just be there, holding her close.
Because they couldn't tell the tears from the rain.
